As im movin some rip rap around somethin catches my eye and i look up to see a group of 5 canadas circlin the other one on the pond and drop right in and hang out for a while before flying off. Hitched a ride back to my truck with one of the guys i work with for lunch and on the pond sits a mallard......Its like they are sittin there laughin at us they know we cant shoot em. i think they can read the foiles migrators sticker on my truck and they just want to taunt me

I hear you brother!!!! I went down to my boat launch a little while ago and swimming aroud the back of my blind boat was four pintails and six widgeon. that same day I was down working on the boat and what flys in and lands on the sandbar but 10 honkers 3 banded birds and one of them was double banded. And of course it was the only time I went down there without a camera.......

I feel your pain Smoke!! It always seems to happen like that. For example, drake pintails around here during the duck season never have big tails, infact usually they dont have a pin at all. Then when snow goose season rolls around, awesome drakes with huge tails drop in allover us early in the spring season. Specks also come in wanting to comit suicide too alot during snow season. But yeah I agree, the birds somehow know we cant shoot them.
