Rob:

Thanks, but I only played a small role in organizing the event. Brian Pierog, of Longneck Outdoors, is running the show. It is a "premier" for his new video - "Killin' Time."

So, the thanks should go out to Brian!!!

Well fellas.....for those of you who didn't make it to this event - YOU MISSED OUT!!!

All of the seminars were very good....the turkey seminar was very good, the basic short reed calling seminar (Hougan and myself) went over very well, the blinds/decoys seminar went well, and the hunting geese layout style (field) went very well.

All in all there were about 100 people there throughout the day and probably an average of 20 or so at each seminar, with a few more at the goose calling and field hunting seminars.

Good food, good people, good information exchanged....just a flat out good time!!!!

Why don't you come to Indiana and do something like this? Sounds like a great time!

Organize a date and location, advertise the event, and let us know!!!! Talk to your local Foiles or Final Approach Dealer about organizing a waterfowl event....it takes a lot of time and work....but it can really pay off!!!

I think the only Foiles dealer we have here in central Indiana is Gander Mountain, not many Foiles guys around here or selection of Foiles calls. My buddy that got me started (Duck Hunter Paul) got turned on to Foiles calls several years back ('00), and I blew his call and loved it, so I bought some Foiles calls. So we've been talking to and converting several guys to Foiles around this area. There's definitely mostly RNT around here. I blew in a competition here in Indy last Feb., and I was the only Foiles around, definitely need a bigger presence in this area. I'll talk to the local Gander and see if maybe we can get something going around here. Thanks, Matt
