Hey Dude,

You gotta remember that the lanyards are custom made. Sometimes they take a while depending on the orders that have to be filled. I'll try and find out what is going on with your order. If you need a lanyard I can send you one of my MDL's to use until you receive yours. Let me know if you want it and get me your addy.

Also....and I don't mean this in a bad way, and I know you paid for your lanyard but, We are all waterfowlers and it is hunting season from coast to coast and north to south....Let me know if you need my extra rope!

Sorry for any inconvenience!

That does seem like a long time to wait for a lanyard. Guy must be pretty busy.

He sounded busy when I talked to him too. I can't wait till I get mine, and as long as the wait goes I don't care if I get it next year as long as it's good quality and I am happy with it. Can't wait!!!

Does anyone know how long an order takes???

One of my buddies ordered one this summer and has only had it for a few weeks. One of them ordered his in June and got it just before September 1st....so that's at least 2 months. It may even be longer, but it may be sooner.

First off, thanks for all the orders! Muddy Dog lanyards is going gangbusters thanks to waterfowlers like you guys!

Now, remember, these are custom lanyards, made one at at time. We don't have 200 in inventory. In fact we don't have 5 in inventory. I'm trying to have every order made especially for the one who ordered it, so I can't have an inventory.

Right now, we are looking at at least 4 weeks for delivery. That may seem long compared to other lanyard companies, but remember, these are custom, not mass produced in China! Also, Justin has got a new job working 60-80 per week, which leaves no time for braiding. We talked a couple of days ago and his lanyard orders are being given to a really fine braider in D.C. He's not quitting, just trying to keep the customers happy. If you have an order placed through Justin, PM me and we'll see what we can do.

So, my apologies for the time frame. But rest assured, our lanyards are the best on the market!

Guy's, just a little insight here. Just a short time ago Jason Toombs was the only one braiding lanyards, now this one man operation has grown tremendously!!!! They are now a forum sponsor, braiding the lanyards for Foiles Migrators Inc. and Team Longneck and the general public with just a handfull of custom braiders. There quality is worth the wait, trust me. Mine are first class all the way!

Jason,

I got a kid who works for me who can braid his ass off. He built a set of 8 strand round reigns out of rawhide today riding around in my truck.

Let me know.

Sorry for the absence guys...like Jason said, im in a new job with long long long hours, i found a nice guy by the name of Kurt Long out of DC whos eye for perfection matches mine and Jasons, if seen the mans work, and its outstanding, im turning every order i have now over to him, so i appologize now for the extended wait, and for not getting back to everyone...

so far ive gone through a breakup with the ole lady, ive had to move back to my hometown, ive lost my dog(for now), im now stuck back home in moms basement for a little while to get my **** together, on top of all this the season is just getting ready to kick off in about 5 days...

the only thing i can say is im sorry for all the delays,

me and Jason have been banging out heads against the wall for the last 6 months to try and figure out a way to the orders that come in out the door faster, but riht now theres just no way around the wait...we have hired more braiders to take the weight off our shoulders, but we are in the trial faze as to how thats going to work out, this is a first for MDL to hire outside the Family, but with me working 60+ hours a week, Jason working 40+ and the lanyard buisness not paying nearly enough for either of us to do it fulltime ( believe i tried ) we just have to figure it out as we go...

becuase of all of your this little itty bitty lanyard company has taken off leaps and bounds, and every small buisness goes through a learning faze on how to deal with growth...im sure Foiles was scratching his head at one point when his calls started taking off and couldnt keep up with the demand....Just bear with us guys we will work out the kinks and get this rolling here in the near future, this is all just a bump in the road, and we will be over it soon !!!

Thanks
