Fellas....
I have been asked to participate in a presenting a seminar on field hunting geese and mallards. Here is my question to you guys....
"If you were to attend a seminar of this type, what topics would YOU like see covered???"
Just lookin' for a little input from you boyz...just want to make the seminar the best it can be!!!

I would want to see something on scouting, blind placement and camoflage, decoy spreads, and when to call/flag vs. when to set tight. Cover the basics, and maybe throw in some advanced calling and tactics, and the crowd will love you.

I agree -- I'd go into calling techniques and how and when to apply them. I'd maybe incorporate something on the topic of hunting traffic fields.

Since I am a total beginner, I feel that Max4Gooser hit the nail on the head, I feel like hearing the whole process that the pro-staff, and other professional hunters use to kill geese, would be the most beneficial, at-least to someone like myself. I would put alot of emphisis on decoy placement, blind placement and concelement, and calling tactics, because thats the bread and butter of it..... just my .02

Decoys spreads and calling are the main thing that I would talk about.

You should do a demonstration on how you get your make-up...errrr....face paint on so perfectly. Or do you redo it just for pictures?
BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHA
Mark will do a real good job at this seminar, he's got his bases covered. Hope some of you guys can make it to it.

I think you should discuss that if you drive a dodge..you probably won't be killing many birds.. ain't that right spence

No it is hard to look good stranded on the side of the road   , and my Ford was only a few months old, traded it after 7 months.

It must be the central part of the state where these boys get their crazy ideas. It's easy to run a dodge in the flat part of the state! To hilly down here for those grocery getters :)

You forget, I have a lease in Greene County, the Dodge did fine, but we did have to pull out another guys Ranger     The only thing I am envious about the Ford's is the better gas milage, but then again the lack of HP does seem to do that for them
At least them fords arent Chevy's

woozie,
To clear the air, muntz and I where not argueing, we where just having a little fun with each other 8) , I really don't care much about what truck brand I drive, as long as gets me from a to b and does the things I need it to do.
Oh and I graduated high school 15 years ago, and it is still fun to raz a guy about their truck brand now then.

i agree. as long as the truck gets my stuff to and from the field its alright with me.
back to the seminar. my friends and i field hunt alot, but when it comes to asking for permission i alway get really nervous. it seems whom ever im with ends up asking. is there any tips for asking permission for somebody (me) who is really shy.
thanks
