Spence must be bad luck. So do you guys hunt close to lake erie or are you more inland. I was just wondering cause in Ohio most of the counties that border the lake can only shoot 1 a day and have a shorter season...was wondering of PA was similar or not. I lived in pittsburg for awhile after college but never got the chance to hunt in PA looks like you guys get into a lot of birds up there in the northwest corner. Keep pounding them.

I guess I should have phrased it a little clearer...I was just wondering if you guys had the same limitations around the lake as Ohio does? You guys got a zone that has a regular season of 5 birds per person per day...that's nice.

The goose zone that is around the lake is the SJBP Zone and limit is 2 per man, per day. I actually live in that zone...but the RP Zone is less than 5 minutes from my house and limit is 5 per man, per day from 11/15/07 through 2/15/08. This zone is tough to hunt around home....birds are here and gone in a short period of time. Now, you get a couple hours east of me and down into the central part of the state....those boys pound up the birds!!!

We do okay for the birds we have....but it comes at a GREAT COST!!! Over $150 in gas just last week and another $75 yesterday trying to find something for this weekend. This seems to be an every week thing.....my ass is going to be broke as a joke come February!!!
