You running traffic, sitting on the X or hunting water?
If you're in a crop filed, what kind of crop and whhere are the majority of birds going?
How many birds are you seeing a day during the flight, and what times are you hunting?
How big is the average flock from which you are pulling 2 or 3 in to land?
What size and type spread are you running and how are you setting up?
How is your calling (honestly)?
What are the other birds doing? Are you pulling 3 off a group that is clearly travelling somewhere else, i.e., are you getting honey-holed but still pulling 2 or 3 per group, or are you getting 3 in but having the others hang up or slide the spread?
Tell us about your hide; layouts, available cover, box blind, pit?
Not being a smartass here at all, but what results are you looiking for/would you be satisfied with?

If he is like me he isn't satisfied unless limits are filled. Also if he is like me he is probably trying to run traffic but he seems to be having some traffic jams. It sound like your not on the X but your trying to pull them your way. It can be a son of a gun sometimes to do this but it sometimes works great. i wold suggest using a larger spread if you are trying to pull the geese to you and get hard on the call to grab their attention than as they come your way just give them enough to keep them coming. I'm no geese expert but I hope this helps a little! Good luck

the flocks range from 12-40 we have set up in corn fields and green fields with the same result we are running 20 last pass hd decoys ......we usually run the u pattern or the v pattern we set up in fields we see the geese in the night before and where they were postioned.....limiting out is not the priority i like to get as many geese as i can on the ground at once lol and im no competition caller but ive shot a fair number of geese in the past

I'd like to know a bit more about your hide...you can't hide 2 layouts in 20 decoys and have that work particularly well unless there's a ton of material to brush up with and even then 2 condo sized lumps in the middle of an otherwise pretty flat field can be tough to conceal. Any movement or glare will stand out pretty good so cover up good including your face.

Landing a few out of every group will get you done in a hurry...don't get greedy - the smaller the groups you shoot into the fewer educated birds around...

we usualy do the same here. It is very hard to pull a flock of 30 or more into the spread when you hunting them on anything but the X. Besides that, we do better with 2-3 at a time than a big flock. Most big flocks here where i hunt are extremely hard to pull in for even a look. We usually have 3-5 guys and about up to 175 deek sout and we hide rather well. My Philosophy is, If they want to be there, they will get there. If they have any doubts you better work 10 times harder to make them want to be.there. Also you say you have 20 decoys. You should jsut for now, and this is only my opinion, put them in a big group all around your blind and brush in extremely well. You dont have enough decoys to really make a set pattern it seems. If your having that much trouble, try everything and anything even while your hunting to make it work. We have moved spreads 3 and 4 times just to get it right.
