I also forgot to give a shout out to Christan, (iawaterfowler88) for all of his calling and bird judgement! I am pretty new at goose hunting, and am not very good on the call, so he came out and called for kingkilla, myself, my dad, his buddy and son along with my brother! Kingkilla and iawaterfowler88 along with iowamigr8tor, had a good mourning, they shot 5 birds, just barely missing their limit but kingkilla came back to my house and finished his up along with all of us shooting our limits! it was a great time and we'll try to get pictures up soon, nice shooting boys and thanks for the help iawaterfowler88! good luck all!

Thanks for the shout out Jordan....it was a lot of fun just to be there and call and call the shots (even though u got ansey once lol) thanks again for the invite.......but I will try to get pictures and the stories up on both hunts tomorrow mid day....no decoys for Christmas :-( ....but i did manage a new Creative Zen MP3 player (6GB) from my mom and dad..... and a Carribean Cruse as a early Spring Break from High School feb 4th-11th that is all paid for other than spending money by my Brother, sister, sister in law, and my sisters boyfriend (they will be joining me on this trip)....so i didnt come out too bad huh? :-) Pics and storys on the hunts tomorrow!

looks like a late Christmas for me!!! haha went out with my dad and 2 other guys this morning and killed our limit of 8.....I killed my first ever band! :-)...then while on the way home we stopped by Pioneer Research fields and spotted 2 orange neck collars so I called kingkilla and ended up going out into the field they (jclasen0124, iowamigr8tor, and 3 others) were in.

It was the one that i helped out in with calling Saturday night where 6 were shooting and killed their limit of 11...king killed on in the morning so only could kill 1 to limit). They had 5, between 6 people so I sat back and helped call again and call the shots and they finished out with their limit of 12. We dont have n e pics of this late hunt though cuz the camera ran out of battery, I do have some from this morning though!.....anyways thanks again king, iowamigr8tor, and jclasen, for the invite to join you boys again.

it was a good long day here. only had about 6 by ten o clock, and then we wacked 6 more for our limit and ended about 2 o clock. no bands though. the geese just wouldnt finish we dont know what was up. we tried moveing decoys, lengthening the u spread out, shortening the u out, and then back to lengthening it again. But the birds just wouldnt finish. mostly had luck with singles and pairs. And jclausen0124 if u move again and flare any more big groups of birds i will plow your face in.

Well done boys. I have tried to teach you well. You will recieve some more training Thursday, free of charge. I just get to hunt your field for my fee. Hahaha Just kidding boys. Guard the field while I'm gone. No survivers!!!

As king said already, the hunt was good, but long. saw quite a few birds, the fog was a pretty big problem and really didnt start moving out of there until about 10 o clock. all in all it was a good day! we're gunna let the field kinda calm down a little bit, and really whack them thursday when killer comes back. We're gunna have quite the team of killers - Myself, King Killa, Killer Miller, Iowamigrator88, and Iowamigr8or, be looking for 10 birds QUICK on thursday. good luck all!

Sounds like you boys got quite the Posse. Good Luck thursday. Our season ends tomorrow in the central zone, I am taking two newbies as well as my buddy who started hunting geese this year, with me so I guess 3 newbies. Wish us luck on knocking down 8 birds.

Kingkilla, sounds like a great time, I will be running around the southern end of Illinois, chasing geese, and ducks are still in down their, and I am hearing they are plentiful. Next year looking to travel some, might have to put Iowa on the list if the invite is still open.

IM with you max4 next year i deffinately want to hit some new locations. Im considering goin up to the place in northern illinois where jeff hunted this year. Its like 100 bucks a day i think. got a friend stationed at offet air force base in nebraska who is already tryin to locate some places to duck and goose hunt next year. he was hooked after watchin fallin skies 1 and 2. the next week he bought a remington 870 super mag. ive sold him on the foiles calls as well hes goin by a grinder and a legend here in the near future.

Gettin' out and seein' some different scenery is always nice! I highly recommend Braidwood smoke...it's a top notch deal. All of the guides there are excellent callers and the location is off the charts. I'll see you boys in southern illinois because I ain't got all the grindin' out of me yet!
