Yeah I live in the city and one morning we were dispatched to a Commercial Fire Alarm, well we arrive on scene as the second due truck and end up sitting the whole time. While looking out of my window on the truck I noticed that there were two geese ontop of the structure. We are talkin a 7 story commercial building. It was so funny.

I know what you boys are talking about. I go to SIUE and have to walk within a foot or two of about fifty geese everday on campus. You'll walk by a building and here one and look up and they will be sitting on the second or third floor of the buildings. We just had a big article in the school paper today about the nesting geese being dangerous. They have even been sending groups of people out to find nests and shake the eggs to control the population. I'll try and post some pics on the tormenting I have to deal with everday.

hey bryan tell the school u know about a 100 guys who will come down and help them take care of that problem. i know what u mean at our trainin site at siue every mornin two of them will drop into a small drainage pond and just hang out for a while in the water then get out and walk around. one could possibly have a band i couldnt get a close enough look. not to mention the huge group of 50 out in the grass field by the drag line.

one day when i came home from school i had a drake mallerd sitting on top of my roof. i took pictures but i think that they got deleted off the camera. also i went golfing the other day, and there is a golf course right across the interstate from our field, and the golf course people took all the eggs away because of the overabundence of geese on the course.

We have quite a few residents here. I play alot of golf, and one day we played there were a whole flock of geese about 30 feet away from us (apx. 15-20 geese), and ALL of them were banded (I think they banded on the course there, but still!).

This weekend we had two does and a pair of wood ducks in the deer feeder at the same time. Didn't have enough time to grab the camera. Wish I did.
