Over the past year I have passed the Shop there in Pittsfield about 2 dozen times while making the trip from Columbia, Missouri back home to Michigan. Everytime I have stopped at the shop to look around or buy something, I had never run into Jeff. Yesterday I wheeled in there on my way down to MO and was wanting to get my HPH tuned in addition to picking up a CCC and a Strait Suzy for my buddy for Christmas. Well Sue had me go in the back to have the call tuned and Jeff, Big Sean and some other folks were hurrying around doing stuff. When Jeff saw I was in need of some assistance, he stopped what he was doing, asked what he could help me with, and took the time to tune my HPH for me. He asked where I was from, what I was doing down in that area, and when I told him I had a job interview I was heading to with the Missouri department of conservation, he even asked questions about that and when I left he wished me luck on the interview.
You know, I always thought to myself, "As much as I love Foiles calls, their customer service, and the way they stand behind their product.....The Only thing that would've made me ever quit purchasing or using foiles calls would've been if I met Jeff and he was a Jerk to me"
Well, Needless to say, He was ONE HELL OF A GOOD GUY, Friendly, courteous, very personable, and just an all around stand up guy. The kind of attentiveness he showed me coupled along with such great calls and a company, Goes a LONGGGG way in my book.
Meeting Jeff for the first time just reaffirmed why FMI is the best company out there........
