So my wife calls me at work yesterday and wants to know if I noticed our 3 month old black lab acting funny? I hadnt noticed anything before I went to work but she said he wouldnt even let her touch his mouth. I wondered if it was becasue of teething but when I got home and he had a serious case of eye buggers, ears cocked back and whined like a school girl if you even reached towards his mouth. So this morning I took him to the vet and she said she thinks it was a small Copper Head and now looking back my wife remembers Max yelping Wednesday night when she took the dogs out before bed. Thank God it was a smaller snake or I would probably be digging a pretty small hole out back for good ol Max. Take care guys, just wanted to share a pretty scary few days! I dont have any kids yet but my labs are as close as it gets.
