I'm posting this in memory of one of my good friends, he lost his life this weekend to cancer at 36 years old.He loved hunting as much as anyone i ever knew, and i have shared a lot of good moments with him in the duck blind and goose pit. He requested that all his paul bearers be dressed in fully camo,Everything was the way he wanted it , His casket was dressed in camo netting all over it like a duck blind , He was buried in a realtree hardwoods camo shirt and a camo team real tree cap, everyone at the funeral home was wearing full camo, the women kids and all, I;m sure he was looking down smiling, He blew a smh , black barrell with ivory insert, he loved Jeff's video's , he also liked the duckmen video's , hunting and fishing was all he lived for, I spent countless hours on the phone with him talking about hunting, He was single and no kids, He does leave behind a black lab named Brandy, that he loved dearly,She was his pride and joy, I will miss this man a lot, he was always upbeat and i never heard him say a bad word about anyone, he was always happy when he was hunting, David we will miss you brother... David Lee Abney..another one gone but never to be forgoten..

Damn Gary sorry to hear it. Sounds like a service fit for a king. Sending the man off in style is a hell of a way to memorialize him. I'm sure he's looking down thanking every one of you for that. You better take that dog huntin.

Thank all you guys for the thoughts and prayers,Myself and his family thank all of you.David had everything planned out,One of his friends Stevie had a old hunting truck that they rode in to go hunting, He requested his last ride be in that truck, So he was placed in the bed for his final ride from the funeral home to the grave, Brandy rode up front with Stevie, I guess this was unusual, but the man lived for his next hunting trip, and this was the way he wanted ,it so that was the way it was , Thanks again everybody
