What is the best thing to keep your acrylic looking nice?

I just keep my calls clean. I usually clean them with mouthwash and cotton swabs. A lot of people say that mothers aluminum polish works well on the bands. You can also send your calls to the shop and they will give them a polish. The best advice to keeping your calls looking good is to take care of them. I take really good care of my calls, they have normal lanyard wear but still look new.

I wish mine still looked new. I haven't found anything that works great but I have tried wax and a buffing wheel which works decent. I have given up trying to keep them looking mint because when I think about it I use them as a tool to kill my birds, I don't wear them around my neck to impress people.

I agree with you both. I use them as a tool but I also take care of my tools. Its an investment. I do use brasso on the bands and they still look new. But th acrylic kinda has a dull look. You still gotta look good!

I suppose! Trying to polish the acrylic by hand is very tough to do and can take a very long time. I know the insides of the call seem to give off that dull appearance if its a clear call. If I can remember right I think I seen small drill attachment that has a little buffer wheel on it. I haven't used one but I'm sure it would work great. Hope this helps!
All calls will show some wear over time, now depending on how bad your call is, sending it to the shop will not take out major scratches. Mothers Mag and wheel polish works great, you can use this on the band and acrylic and it doesnt take much time at all.
