Ok guys need some help. I am hunting a pit in upper Kent County Md. I am currently using 3 doz. black/white V-boards (108 decoys) along with 5 doz. full bodies. There are some snows in the area and I was thinking about mixing in two dozen full body snows. I am concerned that the Canada’s may become a little nervous and maybe not commit as well with the snow decoys in the spread. Anyone have any experience with this?

Are the snows feeding with the Canadas?

Not sure. The snows are roosting on the river about a mile from my pit. I am not sure where they are feeding, but they usually fly over our spread then move on to there feeding field

I would try it, I wouldn't put a ton of snows in with um but I dont think it would hurt.

when I hunt one of my fields i mix in 3 snow decoys all the time... the field is notorious for having canadas and snows in it together buttttt the spread looks awesome to the resident geese in early regular season before the snows get down cause I believe it puts on the allusion of new birds in the area. I would try bunching them up a little bit and not spreading them out too much throughout the canada dekes... if the birds dont seem receptive pull the snow dekes at the end of the day, just my 2cents
