Where are you flying into? We flew from KC to Denver last year and they brought our guns out to us on a cart in Denver after we had landed. But in KC on the way back, our $1,000+ guns came up right onto the baggage belts with all the other luggage. Are they kidding? I mean any idiot knows what a hard cased gun case looks like.....if we weren't there when they came out, couldn't anyone have grabbed them and walked off with them? Of course if you aren't paying attention, people could snag luggage, but it just blew my mind when our guns came out onto the luggage belt!
So basically, if you're flying into Kansas City make sure you're at your correct luggage belt before the luggage even starts coming out. Maybe bitch at the airport if your gun does come out on the luggage belt. Our flight didn't get into KC from Denver until about 1am, otherwise I would have done some ass kicking had it not been so late and not many airport employees around.

We are actually flying into the Memphis airport and then driving from there to Missouri. We're just a little bit concerned on how firearms are handled by the airport. Definitely don't want to lose our guns (Browning Gold and and Extrema II)...would hate to be 10 hours from home and no gun to hunt with on the trip.
