have not posted anything lately and just figured i would just see how the mushroom huntin was going

Found them the size of beer cans yesterday morning.....after the hunt was over. 26.2# 10.75 beard, 1 3/8 spurs....this bird was a stud.

found one last weekend while i was turkey hunting but my buddy has found quite a few.

john nice gobbler, i killed one thurs.25-10-1.25 spurs. and one on fri. 24-9.5-1in spurs and picked a bread sack of yummys. fried turkey-fresh shrooms-fresh asperagass-life is good.

Congrats on the Shrooms too!
I'll be finishing my last batch tonight.....Maybe I'll get lucky and find a few last ones this week while I'm chasing that last bird.
We'll see!

life is grand. called up a 24.8-12in-1.25spurd gobbler for a buddy this morring. seems like the storm moving in really fired them up this morring. oh ya and picked 12 lbs around one TREE. LIFE IS GRAND. :shock:

Went out this moring with a buddy called in a nice tom for him. But he didn't see the little tree between him and the bird. Ended up finding some shrooms and 2 sheds.

Just got done eating them with some turkey and asperagass. It was the first time I ever picked shrooms after to night I dont think it will be the last.
