I just recently found out that mine and my dads hunting partner has terminal cancer at a young age. He had known for a while now and just as a group of ducks was circling yesterday he took the wind right out of my sail. At first it really didn't hit me until I got home thinking that today could had been his last hunt and it just absolutely CRUSHED me. I don't want this turning into a life changing 2 page story. Having said that, You never know when your last hunt might be with your hunting partner, so go every single chance you get, even if the huntings not good, just go for the memories.
