i shot my first canvasback this year. it is always cool to get new birds so i can really look at them and see what the differences are.

I shot my first BIG bull pintail. We don't get many of those where i hunt.

On my last youth hunt i shot my first 3 mallards with 2 shots. Aslo i shot my first golden eye, pintail, and my frist Speck.

I shot my first neck collar on thanksgiving day. I would put pics up but i dont know how to do it???

i shot my first goose band a couple days before christmas and then christmas day i killed my first mallard band and then (IN THE SAME WEEK) i shot my 2nd goose band....i dont know about you guys but that was a week from heaven!!! I also shot my first greenwing teal and my first ringneck this year.

Yup Thanmksgiving Morning. LOL alot of people ask me this question, They are trees :) yeah i know they look weird but my dad decided to put em bak there. I dont know why. haha :D

LOL yeah they do! They geese dont seem to mind them. There were 15 of em out in the field when i got home from school and one was banded! It figures, the season ends and we got banded honkers landin in my backyard :D

i shot jack miner band but i had to work for it i chase it about 100 yards it was a cripple green head

sounds like you all have had great success! glad to see that your parents or someone who duck hunts were able to take you out! but i do have one question for some of the posts i saw!! CANVASBACKS?? i thought they were a NO NO this year!!! but i hope you all continue to have success and remember a day in the field in always a good day no matter if there is a kill! Just to be out in the wild and seeing wildlife is good enough!
