Someone explain the "reward" band to me

When you call or report the bird band, do they actually send you the $ reward amount on the band ? Do you get to keep the band or do you have to send it to them for proof ?

the bird will have 2 bands on it one is normal and the other says reward on it.....I just called in the normal band and they have the information that it was also a reward band on the bird then they get your info and mail you a check, I've killed 3 geese and 3 mallards with these types of bands

You mean that's not something you have to pay out to the rest of your hunting party after you shoot one?

They told me I had to reward all of them $100 for allowing me to shoot the bird. :evil:

I just received my check last week.

I reported the band over the internet, and the check showed up in about a month.

you keep the band, yes you get the $ amount on the band, you just read then the # on the band, and it will all come up on their comps!!!

you get to keep the band, but you need to email the number to me and i will report it for you and find out if you actually get the reward or not. :twisted:
