I want to buy a new duck call, and i have been searching for a good one. I am wondering if the Dead Meat Mallard call is a good call or if there is any other Foiles duck call the anybody recommends?

The dead meat mallard is a great call has good volume but still get soft and very ducky. I also like the Timber Rattler you need to go somewhere and try them all out. all foiles calls are very good.

i agree 100%...i have both the Timber Rattler and Dead Meat Mallard and they are both great calls...the DMM is basically the happy medium between the Timber Rattler and the Strait Meat Mallard, which is more of an open water call...like mallard chaser said just go to your local Sportsman's Warehouse, Bass Pro Shop, Cabelas, etc..and try them out

DMM best all around call I have used in years. I would recommend one on your lanyard.

got 2 timber rattlers now , and a DMM comin any day. i never hunt open water so the tr is perfect for me. its louder then any wood call i have and gets almost as low.the range of sound had me amazed, and the realistic & raspy sound it has is better then any call i've ever had. i just ordered the dmm because i wanted one, but so far i think the tr is the one i'll use the most., but either way i think u'll be happy

Go with the DMM it's an awsome call, you honestly can't go wrong with it. High and low range meeting in one call is the only way to go and this call has it.
