You'll find that Kent has perfectly round pellets. They could be a substitute for bearings if need be.

I'm shooting Kent I think from here on out. It's been a great load for me for 3 seasons.

Kent Tungsten Matrix #3's for ducks

Winchester BB for geese..

The Matrix is without the best round I've ever fired

When I go with factory it is Kent. Most of the time I shoot RSI 1550 fps or faster hand loads. I like the Kent #3 and BB loads.

I shoot 3 1/2" #2 1625 fps. I pay about $17 $18 per box of 25. I haven't had any bad shells in 3 years.

I also run it through a Patternmaster and you really don't have to lead Geese much at all. Ducks slightly. This is what I've noticed with the 1625fps.

well hell $17 or $18 per 25 isn't bad at all...i'm gonna have to give those a try next year

i was going to get a Patternmaster for next season anyway...i meant to get one this season but I had a minor call buying issue that ate up a bunch of money

Long Range Patternmaster with Kent's all the way !
Anything from 3'' #3's and #4's for ducks and Kent 3 1/2'' #1's, BB, BBB and sometimes Remington 3 1/2'' T shot for Geese, depending if Im hunting out of the layout blind, fence row or boat. The T shot comes in handy sometimes on longer shots over the water etc. Kent seems to be the best bang for the buck, but Im starting to hear some good things about Winchester DRYLOK's anybody use these ? My buddies are switching to these, they say the Kents have been giving them trouble. Ive never had a problem with Kent's yet.

I've been shooting kents at ducks and federal heavy shot a geese, its expensive but it packs qiute the punch.

Honestly, the heavy-shot stuff is great. But, it's not needed IMO. Everyone's going to shoot what they like, can afford or are told is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Kent is a very true shooting steel load. The pellets are perfectly round. And, at 1625fps........it's true speed kills!
