I got some bad new folks. Right now Paul is strongly considering cancelling his calling contest. Apparently, someone took advantage of the larger then expected crowd and decided to steal a handgun during the event. Since most of the income recieved goes to the MN Duck and Goose Callers Association, and very little came in for product sales, this put the event at a net loss for Paul. Events that result in a loss of revenue can not continue for small retailers. A police report has been filed and hopefully, the person responsible will be caught. Of course any help in finding this person is greatly appreciated. It saddens me to see this kind of activity coming from our fellow hunters and callers. Again, at this point, it appears that this might have been the last calling event at Red Bear. If you have any information that can help, please PM me.
