Question that has been bugging me??

This is a dumb question, but since Hawk seems to be Jeff's go to dog, is the black lab (Jet I think) coles companion??

I am sure they both are family dogs, but just curious if Hawk his Jeff's dog, and Cole has Jet???

Dont feel bad bud, it's a good question really.

Jet passed, he was an awesome dog and I had the pleasure of hunting over him for a week.

Hawk is all but retired. He is Lisa and Coles buddy and is taking a well earned break. Lisa spoils him and Cole throws him water bottles to play with.

Jeff is bringing up some new dogs and they are looking strong.

I just thought that Hawk was the oldest. Couldn't tell by Jet's performances in the videos.. Jeff I am very sorry for the loss of Jet. When hunting dogs leave before they should, I think God needs more hunting companions.

Hawk is the oldest. Jet died kinda young. It was sudden, no illness really, just died in his sleep one night. Mine went down at age 4 with a brain tumor. Sometimes you roll the dice with these dogs.

it is kind of a roll of the dice....a friend had one die young for no apparent reason, but on the other hand my girlfriends dad has a black lab that is 13 years old and runs their 4 year old chocolate into the ground...he doesn't walk well the evening or day after a hunt but when its "go time" that dog is all business....hate to hear that Hawk is retired i loved watchin that dog on FS4

Hawk is not retired kelly said that Hawk is all BUT retired, he is just taking a break and playing with Jeffs kids.

Thats funny. We had an older lab. He was an upland dog and no waterfowl... If he saw you come out with a gun he was jumping in the truck.... Not in the back with the tailgate down, over the side of the box... That dog was a machine. He made it to 14...
