?Training The Dog?

Hey my Lab just recently went into heat. Should i keep her on the same training routine?

I'd tone it down a little when in heet.Sometimes they get a bit nuts going thru it. Plus if your training with some buddies you might get there dogs distracted. a few short weeks she'll be over with it. Then ole knot head will be ready to run full bore again.

I agree with John....the only bitch I ever had...and English Pointer...

would do REALLY freaky things while she was in heat....it was soo frustrating trying to do anything with her I just gave up....and that was the best thing...I just exercised her and did fun stuff but no "serious" training.... I still hunted her during heat...even though she would do strange things that weren't her usual personality...but hunting was ok other than that...but...my buddy has a shorthair bitch...

he does regular traing through her heat cycle and we really don't see any change in the dogs consistancy...so, that being said...I guess it depends on the individual dog...good luck..
