i use alcoa heavy duty polish for the bands on my call.
does anybody else use something else that works better.

I use Brasso and it works great with a soft rag.

I did that this weekend...just used some Mothers aluminum/mag polish and it worked great! I was amazed how much oxidation and crap it removed. The rag I was using eventually turned all black so I knew it was working. And I was amazed how much better the band looked. Also used it on the acrylic and saw some results. I did a black insert and could really see the dullness go away...it does clean up the acrylic but it depends on the color if you can see it well or not.

hey Adam....these boys are right on.....the best stuff is that Mothers mag and aluminum polish....that's what Jeff..Sean and the boys use at the shop....I always have some in my tuning kit....

There's some other stuff out there called FLITZ. It does wonders on call bands, the brass on hunting knives, and it takes off the powder residue from around the cylinder on my stainless Colt Anaconda 44 mag. It's some pretty amazing stuff.
