Hey guys, I thought I'd show you some pictures of the cooler I built for Carb Day at the Indy 500 for this year. We build custom coolers every year to take to Carb Day, it's a big hit every year, Last year we were interviewed inside the track on ABC Sports, This year we were interviewed on several radio broadcasts. This one has 2 battery operated pump with seperate tanks to bong whatever you want to drink, each tank holds about 3 1/2 gallons. Load it up once with ice and close the lid, you fill the tanks in the 2 risers thru the lid with the caps, I put ice in it on Friday morning, and it still had ice in it on Monday, even in 80 deg. heat. It's definitely alot of fun, we had about 150 people around us in the track bonging beer, and the security came over and asked us to leave the track area and go to the infield :x . I hope you like.

Thanks gooser, how did you do that? I'm definitely going to come to the weekend next year, so I'll make sure and bring the cooler with me  . The theme for next year, is I'm going to build one to mimic the General Lee. I'm going to paint it orange with the 01 and confederate flag on top, chrome headers like the one you see, and 1 pump in the new one, going to put the horn on it. It's alot of fun! You wouldn't believe the attention it gets. I've had alot of guys wanting to buy them at the track, everyone says I should patent them and sell them. I thought I would call it pimp my cooler.com  We'll see.

You could probably get your own series on CMT. I like the general lee idea.
As far asthe pics go when ever you post multiples always post each image on a new line seperating them with theenter key. Hit the edit button on your original post and you should be able to see how i restructured it.

Thanks, I just posted some more pics, and that's what I did by dumb luck! Now I know. Got any design ideas for a Strait Meat cooler to bring next year? That might be fun.

perhaps a couple of insulated full bodies with the tubes coming from their mouths? that would be cool

maybe a regular cooler with a shell on top and the tube coming from the mouth, thatd probably be easier then insulating full bodies... and camo up the exposed part of the cooler.

That's giving me some ideas. I could camo clad it in Max 4, I was kind of thinking of the shell attached to it also, maybe removable spinning wings on the sides, like a mojo style, definitely put a single pump in it or maybe 2, and I would need to put some Foiles decals on it. Any other ideas?

A giant SMH tapper.

That's a good idea, make the cooler look like a giant SMH, wood though, the acrylic would be too much. Definitely giving me some good ideas.

What if you made the ends of the tubes duck and goose calls, so when you're bonging the beer you look like you're calling. They are great looking coolers, do you think you could have enough ready in time for Father's Day.

What do you have in mind? I can whip up basic one really quick (not all chromed up and painted), just basic coolers with pumps, wiring, battery, and tanks.

ya know i was thinking about a different direction and what if you replaced the top of the cooler with a couple of spring loaded doors like a layout blind and when the doors opened a hunter popped out and that was where you'd end the nozzle off the tap, in the barrell of the gun or something. Idk just a thought

Mike, that'd be cool, I think the only problem would be opening the cooler too much, it would let out all the cold and melt the ice quicker. The cooler I did this past year, I put fill tubes on it so you only had to open the cooler once to put ice in it, you refilled the tanks thru the tubes. I do like the idea of calls on the end of the bong hose so it looks like you are calling! A cool basic idea would be to camo clad the whole thing in Max 4, and attach some stubble straps around the bottom half of it and grass it in. A big Foiles Migrators decal on top of the lid, a single pump camo clad to match cooler with bong hose and call on end of it, a fill tube to leave the lid closed, and possible some sort of e-caller for geese to turn on for kicks. Sound good? Any other ideas?

thatd be really cool, check to see if you can make it so every time someone starts bonging it starts honking, thatd be great!

Oh yeah, I can put it on it's own switch and it can be switched on at the same time you switch on the pump. I think i would maybe still mount a small goose shell to the top also. Sounds like a winner! I'll make sure and build one up for next year's WW.
