Boat blind ideas?

Hey guys just wanted to seeif you boys have any boat blind ideas. I was originally just going to buy an Avery Quickset blind but aren't sure now. Any ideas on any home-made blinds that you guys have made would be great. Pictures would be great too. Thanks guys. No hurry, just gotta be done by September 1st.

The Avery boat blinds are great along couple of other manufactures boat blinds. However I like building my own and using native vegitation. I like the more natural look. PM me your email address and I can send you some pics of what my rig looks like.

I like both styles, on biggerboats a good hard bling is great, for smaller boats the pop ups are nice, I am going to wait for the Foiles FowlShack to come out before I purchase a pop up, I have plans for a lightweight homemade blind to get me by until the Fowl Shack is out.

For some good ideas you might look at the latest DU mag(Blind Contest) or the Duck hunters refuge blind forum. Good luck and post some pics when you finish it, and the building process, always good to see others ideas.

my buddy has an avery, i hate it. if it rains and is below freezing the next morning when u try and put it up you better have one hell of a portable heater to thaw that thing out. it took us 2 hours one day to get that thing up, and he stores it inside.
