While in moline last weekend one of the Grounds guys made the most awsome sound come out of a goose call. The turkey note. sounded just like a hen turkey's calling sequence. Anyone else heard this done, or better yet can anyone do it? if so HOWWW????

thats similar, but not the whole thing, the turkey clucks at the begining are right, but then this guy went into "yellllllllllllllllppp yelp yelp yelp yelp" that hens do.

Don't know about that note...doesn't sound "goosey" to me at all. Maybe I'm in the wrong part of the country but I've never heard a goose make a noise that sounded anything like the "turkey" note. Funny thing is my buddy Chuck did that on a call like 2-3 years ago just messing around...he tries to sound like a turkey on any kind of call.

And another one of my buddies can do a pretty good "crow" call out of a power clucker...maybe that will be the next new note.

Dave Smith does a turkey (and a chicken) on Breakthrough 2 when he is talking about the willis. The chicken is pretty impressive.
I always thought that if I ever competed in a contest my entire warm up would be the turkey yelps and the chicken note.

Awww why'd you have to put my first round on there. It sucked. My second was better. But yea thats what I call the turkey note. Not as low as I want it ,but I'm working on it and a couple other wierd notes to try to get some extra points.
