I took my Lab to the vet today and oh $#!+ does he stink. Anyone got any good ideas on what kills the smell.

I don't know if it right or wrong but, I use dish soap on my dog one or two times a year. Pretty simple go to the pond send her out in the water call her back soap her up and send back into the water a couple of times and your done. Brad

You can spray the dog with Fabreeze (perfectly safe)

The best shampoo for a dog is PERT+

If you have a wife with some really fruity smelling shampoo I would give it a shot. But I just use pert on my dog but has hasent stunk real bad. The one time he did I smelled his caller and it was nasty. I would check his collar and if it is what smells throw it in the washing machine. This may not help at all but thats about all I know to tell you.
Good Luck

i use johnsons baby shampoo on my lab it wont take the natural oils from his skin, most of the time i just swim him and hose him off at home also check those ears i use optirinse from my vet for that if his collar stinks buy them a new one washing it only lasts a short time

Thanks for the tips. He swims every day and I think that is part of the problem. We live on some property with a pond and I can't keep any of them out of it.
