next year i was thinking of doing some hunting out of my boat and i have a dozen goose floaters but thats enough what brand should use that will take a beating. i was also thinking of rigging them up sorta like long lines about 8 to a line and buying about another 3 dozen floaters and doing the same to them. and do you think that will be enough dekes. can anyone shed some light on this

easternshoreboy, bigfoot floaters by far they are great you don't need many to make a nice spread....I was hunting down to fishing bay this year and back at the ramp these guys from PA asked how many decoys out they thought i had out 5 dozen lol and we had out 24....can't go wrong with them

What type of water are you hunting? We have a great blind site on the Chester River and usually run 3-5 doz. Use to run them on lines but now prefer to use a droppers so we can change the spread to match the wind a little better. If you got a layout boat they can be a lot fun that way in the open water.

I use different size spreads at different times during the season. For example alot during the mass of the migration and then make it smaller during late season.

if your not familiar with maryland geese migrate here and pretty much stay....so numbers pretty much just increase as the season goes on only thing we have to contend with is geese that have been hunted more and more as the season goes on...you'll have more than enough with 3 dozen, you gotta be thinking boat space how many decoys can you fit in your rig and still have room for equipment and people
