Not pro staff, but I think much or the tone is tune. The way I like a MH and HPH tuned it is about the same. HPH is easier to blow and faster. I think the HPH is also louder with the flaired insert, but you can blow it quite soft because it is so easy to blow and control.

I think the HPH is the best all around Foiles call. Very easy to blow, fast, and has a good mid to hi tone range sound that can kill a lot of different sizes of canadas. You can blow it soft and you can open it up all the way with no back pressure and blow it loud. You just need to get that call tuned right. If you don't know someone who can tune it then send it to the shop or find a pro staff in your area. Don't trade it until you get it set up right. Don’t get me wrong the MH is a great call also, but it is not as fast as the HPH and it takes more hand control to keep the right back pressure when tuned for the same tone.
