Hey guys, just a quik question for you. What is the differance between a timber rattler and the new dead meat mallard call?I really like the timber rattler and I'm planning on buying one later this summer.I already have a strait meat mallard single and a double and like em alot but I'm looking for something I can really tone down. Also do you think Cabela's would have the new call lter this summer, thats where I'd be buying it at.Thanks in advance.

The DMM is a more raspy low end call...it's a little louder then a TR..but the main advantage is...I think this call might be unstickable. No matter how much I spit in it..I can't get it to lock up. I'm not puttin' a stamp on that..but I know Foiles said he hasn't had one lock up yet either. The call is smokin' duck all the way through. I especially love it in a double reed. Got 3rd in the illinois 2-man duck w/ it on it's first time out...Midwest was tickelin' the old TR though..so maybe it was the best of both worlds :)

The DMM is pure duck, I haven't stuck it yet either, and it will get down and dirty. I love my TR (DR) and SMM (SR), but my DMM (DR) is becoming my favorite. It fits perfectly in between the two. I recomend it. I don't know when it is going to be at Cabelas, but you could always order one from the shop 1-866-83GEESE

I agree w/migrator. Blew this call @ WW2 and it is the duckiest call i have ever blown. It has a place on everyones lanyard.
