The difference is what you call bacon, the strips on the sides we also call bacon, but then only you guys down there call it canadian bacon whereas its just ham to us.


And on the alaska note, geology wise shouldn't be be canadas, owell I guess you bought it at the right price from the russians. Its almost like if florida was owned by cuba and then canada bought it, just looks funny.

i always thought ham and Canadian bacon were damn near impossible to tell a difference in......i actually have never even asked for Canadian bacon on anything because I thought it was the same as ham, but I got into a debate w/ a friend the other night and he said there was some difference....
