Jeff Foiles, owner of Foiles Migrators, Inc., is proud to
announce the upcoming 4th Annual Waterfowl Weekend, scheduled for May 17 and
18, 2008. The two day event will be held at the Foiles Migrators
facility located in the Industrial Park, north of Pittsfield IL on US Hwy 54.
Two sanctioned duck calling contests will be held on Saturday- the
Illinois State Duck and the Two Rivers Regional. Other contests being held
on Saturday are the Illinois State Jr Duck 12 & under and 13-16,
Illinois State 2-Man Meat Duck and the Ole Timers Flute Only Goose.
Sunday’s contests are Illinois State Jr Goose 12 & under and 13-16, Novice
Goose, Illinois State 2-Man Meat Goose and the Illinois State Goose.
Contests begin at 9:30 each day. Last year’s event was very successful
with over 80 callers participating in the contests. Top prizes will be
announced as soon as available.

In addition to the calling contests, our showroom will be open
with our full line of products available for purchase. The new Strait
Timber duck call will be premiered as well as the new Fallin’ Skies 5.
This year’s DVD includes hunts from Alberta, Colorado, Missouri and
Illinois. Our “new logo” apparel will be for sale, including hooded
sweatshirts, short and long sleeve t-shirts, hats and youth clothing.
Also new this year, Jeff is adding a line of firearms and will have new
inventory available for sale.

Vendors will be set up outside, including the Final Approach
trailer and “krugerfarms.com” trailer, as well as ATVs and other
waterfowl and outdoor products.
A Promatic trap thrower will be set up for shooting demonstrations near
the facility. Participants will be able to try out Benelli shotguns
and Winchester ammo.

Friday night entertainment at The Back Alley Bar & Grill is
“Antidote”. A hog roast is planned for Saturday evening, also at The
Back Alley Bar & Grill, with entertainment by “Zwarte”. Weather
permitting, both evening events will be held outside.

Be sure to mark your calendar for an exciting weekend! More details and
lodging information is available on our website at
www.foilesstraitmeat.com or by calling Foiles Migrators at 217-285-5665 or 866-83GEESE.

Ok. So I'm trying to make it down for the regional duck, flute goose, novice goose, and open goose. But I want to know if there are any hotels near where the contest is being help seeing as how I am 17 and can't rent a car.
