After layibg in just about every model on the market trying to decide on the best one for me, I chose the F.A. S.U.B. in Max-4. It is comfortable, roomy, and easy to put up/take down. Plus they are priced great.

I'm going to have to say Final Approach. I have hunted out of both F.A. and Avery and I am more comfortable w/ the F.A. I have the Eliminator Pro-Guide in MAX4 and I can fit everything I need into it. That includes me, my dog, blind bag, extra clothing, food and drinks, and my gun and still have plenty of room to be comfortable. My Finisher is field brown and isn't as roomy, however it is easier on the back if you have to haul your stuff into the field. However I also think that F.A. is giving Avery a run for their $$$ this year with the expansion of more portable blinds.
Hands down go with the Final Approach

Final Approach....better quality construction, more durable, very roomy, functional, and very comfortable to be in. After hunting out of Avery blinds (Finisher and Power Hunter) for years, I had the chance to pound some birds out of an FA blind this past year. One experience is truly all it took....the X'Landr was unbelievable! Super comfortable, very warm, ultra low profile, and after checking out the construction of the blind, it was obvious the blind was very well put together with quality materials.

Just my thoughts...

There are still models that do not fold...but there are many models that do fold up - i.e., Eliminator Express, X'Landr, S.U.B....

I like my S.U.B. because I don't break it down, and I can stick a folded finisher inside, and carry those and other gear....saves 2-300 yrd walks, if not more!!

I have never had that problem w/ my F.A. blind it must be an isolated problem.

My ProGuide doesn't actually fold but closes down a little bit more. The rails alnog the bottom that go from the head rest down to the bottom come undone and cuts the size down by about a 1/3.

I have never used an Avery...so I have no opinion on them...but I have 3 Final approach blinds....Eliminator, S.U.B., and X'lander .....the Eliminator is the roomiest and very comfortable..the S.U.B. is a little more mobile but also very comfortable...but in my opinion the X'lander is the way to go...its the lowest profile blind you can get and extremely mobile...you can pack decoys and your gun in it and get into the spots off the road....we cant drive in many fields around here....so the less trips the better!

I have the Avery finisher. It's been a good blind, it does fold down pretty compact, apx. 48x18x12. I wouldn't say it's the best or the worst, overall a pretty good blind, but my next blind I get will probably be a FA, maybe a SUB, not sure. Either way they both are good blinds, I think the FA is probably a little better constructed. Good luck!
