The X' Landr hands down, I have hunted out of an X' Landr since they first came out, in fact we bought six of them, and still have them, and they are in great shape. Not only is their durability great, their profile is low, they are comfortable, they don't have a bar going right across the knees, and they transport easy. I guess thats all I have, but I think they are the best blinds out there and like I said, I have hunted out of them since they came out.

Couldn't have said it better Nick!!!!
I hunted out of a Finisher for years and liked the blind...but, after mine broke for the third time last year, I had the chacne to hunt out of an X'Landr and let me tell you .... that blind is the cat's meow!!! Comfortable, warm, low profile, easy to conceal, can be used to haul decoys (silos) and your gun, backpackable, and VERY durable.
If I were you...I would go to your local retailer and try both blinds...or find some buddies that have the blinds and try their's. The only way to make a truly informed decision is to climb in them and see how you like them then.

My vote goes for the finisher. Been hunting them for many years. I have sit in the xlander and I like it as well. I am just comfortable in my finishers. Bottom line is that myself nor no-one else here can tell you what you will find comfortable.
Go and sit in them both. Look like a fool and try one out. Picture a hunt from last year and relive it. lay for the 10 minutes while your buddies' blow calls or your wife complains about the price. then picture the birds coming in, follow them, think about the routine. and then spring forward scaring some unsuspecting person. You will then figure out which product you like best.
Not to muddy the waters, but Avery is coming out with a new blind that resembles the Xlander and the way it fold up and is packed.
On a side note. I will be interested to see how many of the foiles clan are going to vary off of a FA product and say they like the avery better. You might as well ask Dale Jr to drink a coors original after he gets done making all those left turns.....

I've hunted out of both and for me its the finisher any day.It has more room and I find it more comfortable. The X lander is a little small for me and I don't like the way the doors flap around when its windy. Both are top quality construction and you could be happy with either one.If your over six feet tall you might like the finisher better,it has more leg room and depth.

Well if Roomy is what your looking for I wouldnt go with the finisher. I have a finisher and a Eliminator Pro Guide. I'm only 5'11" and I feel cramped in the finisher. Without it having a full frame like the Pro Guide if you are like me and jump in and out of your blind alot you better have the stubble secure on the bottom portion of your finisher. My Pro-Guide is a great blind! I dont think you could get any roomier, unless you build a pit in the middle of the field. I am contemplating giving the X-lander a try for its low profile and ease of transport.
The best thing to do is sit in each and decide for yourself. They both are relitivly equal in price so I can tell that doesnt matter. I like my finisher, dont get me wrong, but I wouldnt call it roomy. Also it is a comfortable blind, however when you start off hunting in a F.A. eliminator and go into a smaller blind you are going to feel cramped.
What the Heck just buy um BOTH!!!

If you're looking for room, I wouldn't get either the X-lander or Finisher because they are built to be transported. But I have a Finisher and like it alot. Been hunting it for 2 full seasons and has been hunted hard. Nothing wrong with it at all. But I am 6'2" and it isnt too roomy. My buddy's dad has a Migrator and I like it alot. But I think if I buy another blind, it will be a FA Eliminator pro-guide. My uncle is 6'5" and loves his. In fact, he has 2 of them!!!
But if I had to choose between a Finisher and a X-landerm I would choose the Finisher. More comfortable in my opinion. I have no trouble sleeping in my Finisher.

I haven't hunted out of any FA blinds and don't know if I want to. I have a 3 year old finisher and the only thing wrong with it is that my buddy ran over it in his truck. Suprisingly it did very little damage. Broke one small piece and bent another. Blind still works fine though. I hunted with a guy once who had a FA blind. I don't know what kind it was but it was huge. It did look a lot more roomy than my finisher but I thought it stood out in the field. We only got 1 bird that day because every flocked flared. We hunted the same field the next two days without him and killed 30 birds. Saw a lot more birds the last two days but hardly any flared. Plus we knocked down 7 bands in one flock.

We are using Finishers and I have a ton of room in there. I'm not a small guy either, but there is a ton of room. I guess we'll see how this season goes, maybe I'll end up having to change, but I don't see that anytime soon.

I hae laid in both, haven't hunted out of both, but I prefered the x'lander. I personally chose the FA SUB, it was right choice for me, comfortable, plenty of room, economical, and fits in a shortbed pick up with room to spare. It is easy to set up and takedown, and is well constructed. If you have been leaning towards the Finisher, you owe it to yourself to try a SUB before you buy. I do plan to buy a X'lander next, and maybe a few more SUB's for those guys I take hunting who don't have their own gear yet.

i would say the finisher. i have one myself and i think that it is easy th trasport and very comfortable. i am about 6' 1 and i still have plenty of room. i even had enough room to put a dog in there one day.

The sub is a much better choice then the finisher after using both. The main reason is the sub doesn't have side rails that can snap on a finisher then you are trying to stand up. The sub has the better frame and lids.

I'll throw my .02 in. I currently own and hunt out of a Finisher blind. It has been a good blind, plenty of room, definitely not bad to carry in and out, folds down pretty compact. I don't like the set up on the side with the adjustable pole, it's a pain in the butt, especially when it's cold out, but otherwise, I think a good blind. But I will say that the next blind I buy will be the FA sub, I personally think that the FA products are constructed just a little better than the Averys, and the prices are about the same, so for me I'm going with FA next time. Hope this helps. I really don't think you can go wrong with either one! :D

what don't you like about that pole? Leave it together. It folds up all the same!

I never thought of leaving it, but wouldn't it be more bulky folded up? It wouldn't compact all the way down?

Nah man, well maybe a half inch or so. No bulkier then that extra corn stalk, etc. Give it a try, I think that you will like what you find...
I have been doing that for 4 years and have yet to have a problem.
Set up time is literally under a minute. Cover time, well that can be another story.
