Call Band Question

I have a Cackler that I bought 2nd hand and the Band on it seems to be not pushed on far enough I was wondering if it was just me or if they are all like that, I have a picture, not sure how easily it will be to tell, I drew a arrow pointing at a ridge in the middle of the lanyard slot that seems like where the band should be pushed on to, and if it isn't all the way on what should I do to fix it?

put it in the freezer for awhile till it loosens up and your able to push it down, once you get it to where you want then just let it set at room temp. till it tightens back up.

Yep, Freezer will cure that.

I'll try that then I guess although looking in the end it doesn't look like there is much room to push, so we'll see I guess.
