I Have a ??? For the Stait Meat Meat Grinder wich is poly carbonate and the SMH what is the difference in sound?

generally speaking I would say this....
the MeatGrinder is a little more raspy sounding in my opinion than the SMH...and its very loud
the SMH is more crisp and clear.....check out the soundfiles

I have both and the SMH is clearer, less buzz, and has a better tone.
The grinder is a great call and at first could not tell the difference. But as I improved, I could hear it.
I still will blow the grinder from time to time in the field. It's a nice change in pitch when the birds won't quit finish... sometimes that change will settle them right in.
If you are trying to decide between the two, go ahead and get the SMH. Within a year of buying the grinder you are going to purchase the honker anyway. :D
