A word of Caution!!!
We just returned from Florida today. When we returned the rental car at the airport in Orlando we found out that they tacked on insurance after we told them twice that we did not want it, when we rented it.
We had a rental itenerary from Expedia.com with the price and total on it. When we got there they told us that they do not use them and thus did not even have a car reserved. There was a long line and the guy who we could barely understand rushed us through saying they were vary busy and was getting the car at the 98 dollar price he showed us but when we turned it in, it was more then double.
Always read everything before you sign it no matter how busy it is at the counter. :x

Used Alamo when I went to Wisconsin this last year. Car was waiting when I got there. Service was friendly. No extra charges. All charges were explained to me when I picked it up.

They offered a "refuel" for a set fee regardless of how much gas was in it. This saved money if you were gutsy enough to limp back to the airport on fumes like we did.

Returning the car could not have been easier. Overall a good experience.

Sorry you had a bad one.
