Chris wiemers

My name is Chris Wiemers. I live in West Central Illinois, fortunate to be only minutes away from where the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers meet. I began hunting waterfowl at the age of 16 with my good friend, the late Brent Bosse. I enjoy sharing what I have experienced about this great sport and appreciate the opportunity to learn from others. I am honored to say that I have been a part of Team Strait Meat for the past seven years.
When I’m not grindin’ the ducks, I enjoy bow hunting and fishing with my wife, Carrie.
I have been known to try to hit the occasional golf ball.
The remainder of my spare time is spent as a Union Bricklayer, proud member of 18 years.
