Barry Bennis was born and raised in South West lower Mi, within walking distance to Lake Michigan and the Grand River. I spent my teenage summers fishing for perch, bluegill and salmon in anticipation of the fall hunting seasons that were approaching. I took up competitive shooting and met some very dear friends at the club, one of which was Bill who invited me on my very first duck hunt that I’ll never forget, Bill passed away some years back.
