i have lived i western nebraska all my life learning to hunt and fish from my dad and grandpa was just a way of life. from the time i was old enough to cock a red rider there wasnt a bird safe on our farm or a few windows for that matter, i started hunting by myself around 11-12 walking ditch banks for roosters every night after school. at 14 we could draw our first deer permits and that started a quest for mule deer that has never left me, in highschool i started hunting coyotes any way you could hunt them from calling to driving pastures.

there where times when we hunted geese around lisco and oshkosh growing up, I shot my first banded goose with my brother that we both claim as our bird because we shot at the same time.

i have really gotten into duck and goose hunting in the last 6-7 years and now i spend all my free time either hunting or getting ready to hunt the north platte river.
