My name is Boomer Hesley and I live in Anchorage, AK. I've been waterfowling since I was a teenager. When I shot my first duck, a mallard drake, I knew I was hooked. Since then, I've hunted all over the nation. When I was in my early 20's I moved to South Dakota and guided for an outfitter in northeastern SoDak. I joined the army in 2008 and ended up in Alaska.
